PMSHRI KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA AFS SULUR prioritises imparting education to the valuable seekers in this community for, “education is the supreme substance among all substances in the world. Because it cannot be stolen by others, invaluable and always imperishable.” The education at KV AFS Sulur encompasses imbibing all the qualities a person needs to become a noble citizen of the world- academic excellence, confidence in the self, honesty, empathy and love for fellow beings.
Our school places necessary emphasis on the the five guiding pillars of NEP 2020, Access, Equity, Quality, Affordability and Accountability thus preparing our children to meet the diverse and global challenges of the present and the future. Our language policy follows the guideline of NEP 2020 that keeps the medium of instruction as English but is sufficiently democratic use multiple languages for concept clarity.
All our classes, from Balvatika to class XII are equipped with student friendly infrastructure and most of the classrooms include technical support in the form of projector or interactive boards.
Periodical training for teachers termed as CPD, strengthens the potential of the teachers thereby making the pedagogical practices more effective. The activities are planned in such a way that a holistic development of the children happens. These activities are based and planned on the recommendations of NEP 2020 – they are toy based, music embedded and art integrated. In all, learning is made fun filled without deviation from the focus or dilution of the quality at PMSHRI KV AFS SULUR.
